Talking with a friend recently I came to realize mid conversation that people in our world are greatly lacking perspective, knowledge and an open mind. We get caught up in our lives we don’t allow in the new. We don’t allow God to mold us, we don’t allow people in far enough to let ourselves be vulnerable and grow, and we struggle to see situations through other people’s eyes which causes us to be extremely judgmental.
For my whole life I have been fascinated with people. There are SO many kinds!!! Funny, serious, dirty, way too clean, careful, stressed out, carefree, angry, loving, kind, relaxed, content, worried, passionate etc… I used to catch myself just staring at people when I was in the grocery store with my mom. This is why I am confident that I was created to work with people whether it be helping them, listening to them, laughing with them or even just being with them. In my years of living I have met people from thousands of different backgrounds, I have learned from wise men lessons about adventure and perspective, I have listened to the stories of women who have experienced pain unimaginable. Life has touched every person in majestic and beautiful ways, to look into another person’s universe, even for just a second, is so powerful and beautiful.
