I made a point tonight to a friend that I get annoyed when people make comments or generalizations about themselves, for example "Im a whore", but then follow it up with "but Im not like that when I'm (working, or in a relationship, or with my family)". This frustration simply comes from my lack of tolerances for people who live different lives or try to be different people. The world is small, life is short...WHY contradict who you are?? Be who YOU are and LOVE who YOU are.
My life theory is that people don't KNOW who they are before they are 25, 26, 28 ish and it is important to not make any decisions about "how I am" or "what I do" before this time. people change ALL THE TIME but the majority of that transformation comes before these formative years.
All this to say, don't settle into what you think are your ideas of what life is, what a relationship should be like or what success should be like becuase you are still becoming YOU. relationships, success, your future will be very different then what you want for them to be right now because YOU will be VERY different than what you are right now (in good ways).
BLALBALBALBLA my brain just overloaded onto you... :-)
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
Romans 12:2 (NLT)
